Karen Lawson
Bio/About:

Karen grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa and came to Seattle via a multi year sojourn in London and a long-term layover in New York City. Homeopathy is primary care medicine in South Africa and Karen was first exposed to it as a teenager. The ‘magic’ of that initial homeopathic treatment was the revelation that so many proponents of this medical art know only too well. Ever since then Karen has aspired to working in a collaborative, integrated health care model. Her move to New York allowed for a period of study and she graduated from the School of Homeopathy New York in 2006. She received her CCH, from the Council for Homeopathic Certification, in 2009. Her ongoing post-graduate study includes seminars with world renowned homeopaths in the US, India and Europe and Karen has been strongly influenced by the “Bombay School” as well as Jan Scholten. Karen ran a robust joint practice in New York City with a fellow SHNY graduate and they continued to practice together remotely for several years after the move to Seattle. Karen is honored to serve the homeopathic community in the Pacific Northwest by being a board member of the Pacific Northwest Homeopathic Association.
