I welcome people of all ages, but have a special interest in the behavioral and emotional health of children and teens. My practice is strengthened by the convergence of my past experience: ---As a high school teacher working with at-risk youth, I had great success combining a very high standard with respect, compassion, and an unquenchable belief in the resilience of children and teens. ---An undergraduate degree in math and pre-med, and an MS in physics gives me the ability to read and understand both advances and mistakes in conventional science and medicine, and also a keen interest in the intersection of science and alternative medicine. ---A family background in homeopathy, with one parent from Germany and the other from India, provide the backdrop for a practice that is both modern and rooted in tradition. I see the growing number of kids with ADHD, ASD, anxiety, and depression as a demand for big shifts in our understanding of health and disease, and big changes in the way we treat our environment.
