Astaire Roorda is a board-certified, classical homeopath. Her interest in homeopathy began after observing its effects upon her eldest daughter, who overcame asthma at the age of six. Her curiosity piqued, she embarked on formal homeopathy study with Anne Jerome, PhD, CCH, followed two years later by enrolling at the Academy of Homeopathy Education. She completed the part-time professional homeopathy training program at AHE in 2019, and in the same year earned her CCH credential through the Council for Homeopathic Certification. Astaire launched her practice in early 2020, and maintains a busy part-time practice for distance and local clients. In 2021, Astaire volunteered for the CHC’s Public Relations committee and in 2022 joined the Board of Directors. She was elected by the board for the position of President in 2024. Prior to embarking on her career as a professional homeopath, Astaire earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Wheaton College (1999), and taught music in both public school and private studio settings. Astaire lives in Rockwall, Texas, with her husband Dirk, and their three daughters.
