Dr. Margo Gasta, DCN, RDN, LDN, CCH, is an Integrative Functional Medicine Dietitian and Certified Classical Homeopath. She has been practicing nutrition for 35 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, a master’s degree in clinical nutrition from Texas Woman’s University, and a doctorate in integrative and functional nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health. She has been in private practice since 2000 at Nutrition By Margo, LLC, and currently lives in Boulder, CO. Her expertise includes gastrointestinal health, chronic pelvic pain, autoimmune conditions, mood concerns, and cardiometabolic health. She has co-authored and published 11 scholarly articles, notably on probiotics and Hashimoto’s Disease, and has contributed a chapter titled, “The Nutrition Assessment of Metabolic and Nutritional Balance,” to the textbook entitled Integrative and Functional Medical Nutrition Therapy. She lived overseas in Europe for four years. She has three adult children and finds joy in travel, pickleball, gravel biking, hiking, camping, skiing, gardening, and cooking.
